August Van Aert - Oostmalle

August Van Aert has been one of the leading lofts in Antwerp's sprint and middle distance racing for decades. Countless championships and ace pigeons have been won in Union Antwerp and ZAV, mainly with old and yearling pigeons. August also managed to make a name for himself at national level, with a national victory at La Souterainne and several rankings among the KBDB national ace pigeons. The basis of the current stock was formed around stock cock BE11-085 “Ilano”, a star racer and later a gifted breeder, directly from F & K Mariën from Tielen. In 2019 and 2020, pigeons were purchased from Danny Van Dyck in Pulle, mainly grandchildren of BE09-112 “Kanon” and BE09-111 “Den Elf”, which immediately brought the necessary successes when crossed with the old lines. The latest additions came from Ton Van De Put, Hapert – Eddy Janssens, Zandhoven and Harry Smolders, Pulle.
Due to declining health, all old birds are now being auctioned off.
